Energy, Natural Resources & Utilities

Our Experience

The firm’s energy practice possesses deep-rooted expertise in energy, natural resources and utilities and has acted on a substantial number of high-profile projects both in Greece and abroad. Our work in the energy sector includes advising on the establishment of companies, issuance of licenses/permits, construction projects, financing, contract administration, defense-pricing, dispute resolution and the settling of claims.

We have also provided insightful advice on feasibility studies for energy projects and on the creation of legal frameworks within the energy sector. We have in particular collaborated with two other firms on a law reform project concerning concession contracts in the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). The project was carried out within the framework of the European Union Phare Programme entitled “Investment Options in the Energy Sector”.

The firm’s team has represented foreign companies selling power and gas in Greece and companies entering the Greek oil market. Further, we have been involved in all of the major gas projects that have been carried out in Greece.
